FTCS Educational Philosophy

Our educational philosophy is based on the authority and reliability of the Bible as the complete revelation of God concerning matters of faith and truth.  The Word of God must be part of our curriculum and the lives of our teachers and administrators so that truth is presented in every area of life - spiritually, socially, physically and emotionally.

FTCS exists with the believe that Christian parents should have the opportunity to give their child quality education based on the Word of God.  We do not replace the home, but we view ourselves as an extension of the Christian home.  We desire to cooperate closely with parents in a student's development.

We encourage our students to reach their potential in every activity inside and outside of the classroom.  We are excited about the potential of each student in our school, and we seek to nurture the students' creativity and their leadership abilities, under the Lordship of Jesus Christ.

Our responsibility as Christian educators is to train young men and women to conform to the image of Jesus Christ.  We as a Christian school are to present to our students, as clearly as possible, the truth about God, about life, about the world and to present the Word of God as the source upon which to build a life that has purpose and meaning.

FTCS Educational Goals

1.  To give the students a view of the world from a Christian perspective, so they can:

  • Understand the existence of God the Creator
  • Recognize the purpose of Creation is to glorify Him
  • Accept Jesus as revealed in the Word as a mediator between God and man, accepting Him as both Savior and Lord
  • They can know the Holy Spirit will teach and guide them into all truth.
