When considering Christian education here at FTCS, we encourage potential new students and their families to fully understand their responsibility as a part of the school. FTCS is first of all a choice - not an alternative to the state school system. We are a quality decision. The school is not and will never be a place for students with disciplinary problems. The environment FTCS has been designed to offer is one of strong morals, Christian values and a safe place for learning and growing for young people. This leaves no place for students with long term disciplinary problems.
Parents and students involved with the ministry of FTCS are urged to be faithful in several areas. One of the most important areas is that of the young person’s learning. FTCS demands excellence in academic classes. Students must be willing to apply themselves and work hard. Due to the excelled pace at which we work, students should avoid absences and tardies.
Because FTCS is a private Christian school, and we expect all of our students to behave accordingly. We believe the Word of God is the basis for our guidelines and principles for living. Therefore, we expect our students to live a lifestyle that reflects Christian living both in and out of the classroom. A student's conduct outside of school directly reflects on FTCS, so parents and legal guardians of students applying for admission to FTCS must follow Biblical principles for conducting their lives. If a parent or legal guardian participates in questionable activities that reflect a moral deficiency, the student will not be admitted to FTCS. When enrolling a student at FTCS, your family agrees to the Bible as your final authority. We strongly encourage families to be a part of a local church for spiritual accountability and encouragement.
A new student is accepted to FTCS upon completion of an interview with the prospective student and his or her parents as well as a 30-day trial period, both of which are used to determine whether or not the student and the school are compatible. A student may be dismissed from FTCS at anytime if he or she fails to conduct his or herself in a manner that does not reflect Christian living or refuses to obey the rules and code of conduct. The student will sign a cod of conduct from agreeing that he or she will live a life worthy of Christ.
Faith Triumphant Christian School operates on the tuition paid by the students. In order for the ministry of FTCS to function and operate smoothly, tuition must be paid on time each month. Failure to pay tuition by the tenth of each month will result in a late fee being added to the student’s tuition. Failure to pay tuition will result in the student’s dismissal from FTCS.
When a student is accepted to FTCS, they will be placed on a 30-day trial basis, following an interview with the student and their parents. This is to see whether or not the student and the school are able to work together. A student may be dismissed from FTCS at anytime if he or she fails to conduct themselves in a manner that does not reflect Christian living or refuses to obey the rules and codes of conduct. The student will sign a code of conduct form agreeing that they will live a life worthy of Christ.
FTCS has a uniform dress code. Students are required to purchase specific items from our school uniform distributor. A student must wear the items specified in the catalog. Students also must order the proper attire for their PE classes. Dress code is strictly enforced.
On the first day of school students and parents must attend orientation. Orientation will be a time to go over rules and to make sure all paperwork is properly filled out. The meeting is mandatory.
The tuition for one school year for students in K4 through 12th grades is $1800.00. The tuition can be paid in nine installments of $200.00 due by the fifth of each month.. A registration fee of $100.00 is due upon acceptance to FTCS as well as a $100.00 book fee.
